The Center for Data Science (CDS) builds on the legacy of UTSA’s School of Data Science, continuing its role as a catalyst for data-driven discovery, innovation, and collaboration. As part of the College of AI, Cyber and Computing, the Center fosters collaboration to apply data science to today’s most pressing challenges. Through interdisciplinary research, hands-on learning, and strategic partnerships, the CDS strengthens UTSA’s role as a leader in data science across academic and industry landscapes.
The Center will continue to bring together faculty, students, and partners from across the university to solve real-world problems using data. The mission of the Center is to support cutting-edge research by providing assistance with grants and funding, to encourage collaboration across various fields and colleges, and to engage with the broader community.
